Ingredients

  • 600g Coles RSPCA Approved Free Range Pork Loin Medallions
  • 2 tsp Chinese five spice powder
  • 2 firm pears, cored, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup
  • 550g pkt Coles Kitchen Asian Style Salad Kit

Method

  1. Step 1

    Sprinkle the pork with five spice. Season. Turn to coat well. Set aside for 15 mins to develop the flavours.

  2. Step 2

    Place a greased large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the pear for 3-4 mins each side or until golden. Transfer to a plate.

  3. Step 3

    Add pork to the pan and cook for 3-4 mins each side or until golden. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add maple syrup and bring to the boil. Return pear to pan and turn pork and pear to coat. Cook for 1 min or until syrup thickens slightly.

  4. Step 4

    Slice the pork. Combine salad and dressing from the kit in a bowl. Divide pork and salad between plates. Top with pear and drizzle with pan juices.
