Rise and shine with this iced strawberry matcha latte. It will go down a treat on a warm summer day.

Strawberry-matcha iced latte


  • 1 tbs Wellness Road Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder*
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) boiling water
  • 2 tbs caramel flavoured coffee syrup
  • 1 cup (250ml) chilled milk or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) pouring (pure) cream
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Ice cubes, extra, to serve
  • Matcha powder, extra, to serve

Strawberry cream

  • 150g strawberries, chopped
  • 3/4 cup (185ml) milk or almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) thickened cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla or hazelnut flavoured coffee syrup
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes

  1. Step 1

    Place the matcha powder in a small heatproof bowl. Pour over the boiling water and whisk with a fork until the mixture is smooth. Transfer to a blender with the syrup, milk, cream and ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Pour evenly among serving glasses.

  2. Step 2

    To make the strawberry cream, place the strawberry, milk, cream, syrup and ice cubes in a clean blender and blend until smooth.

  3. Step 3

    Add extra ice cubes to the matcha mixture in glasses. Carefully pour the strawberry mixture over the back of a spoon into the glasses. Sprinkle with extra matcha powder and serve immediately.

Recipe tip
