Grill on the barbecue
Grill some portobello mushrooms on the BBQ covered in lime and garlic butter dressing. This is a great side dish to go with chicken.
Quick side salad
Marinate mushrooms in extra virgin olive oil, balsamic, minced garlic and chopped parsley add some baby spinach. Perfect as a quick side salad.
Stuff some button mushrooms with a pancetta and fetta mix then roast in the oven. These are perfect for canapes or an addition to your eggs in the morning.
Asian cabbage wraps
Saute mushrooms with some Asian flavours eg ginger, chilli, coriander, garlic then wrap in cabbage and steam. Serve with oyster sauce. Great vegetarian meal.
Roll mushrooms in breadcrumbs and grated parmesan cheese and cook in a pan then serve with garlic aioli. Perfect to serve with your grilled fish as a substitute to chips.
