For just $89.95 a year you can take advantage of our 24/7 nationwide Roadside Assistance service. Add Roadside Assistance when you purchase a Coles Car Insurance policy.

You can start using your Coles Roadside Assistance for breakdowns that occur 48 hours or more after purchasing your membership. If you require assistance before then – or help at any time with a pre-existing condition – a non-refundable service charge of $110 will apply, in addition to your annual membership fee.

There are a number of factors you can consider that may help reduce your premium:

• If you’re purchasing a Comprehensive Car Insurance policy, you can choose to pay a higher excess. However, this means in the event of a claim you'll need to pay more.
• Consider whether to insure your vehicle for an agreed or market value. It is typically more expensive to insure your car for an agreed value. 
• Reviewing your cover to ensure it suits your current needs, including any optional extras.
• Choosing to pay your premium annually instead of monthly or fortnightly.    
• If you drive 10,000km or less per year, you may be able to take out a Low Kilometres Comprehensive Car Insurance policy.
